Volunteers

The Empire Skate Club is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We welcome skaters who are willing to donate their time and energy to the club. As a volunteer you'll meet and work with other club members who share your interest in and enthusiasm for skating, and you will have the satisfaction of helping to promote skating as a fun and enjoyable activity.

You can devote as much or as little time as you are comfortable with — we are glad to have you aboard and will be grateful for any time you can spare. You can use the skills you already possess or we can teach you new ones, things you can put on your resume and impress your friends.

We always need volunteers to help with the following:

• leading a weekend group skate
• marshalling a major group skate (e.g., Big Apple Roll)
• organizing a social event
• sponsor relations
• marketing and public relations

No experience is necessary — just a desire to help out!
