| Tonight we had an excellent skate to Brooklyn Heights. It was a small group tonight (9) and the temperature was a cold 36°F - yes we got the sniffles. The pace was quick with mini breaks here and there. We descended down a killer hill near DUMBOS, admired the interior of a pastry shop which was closed, joked around, reminisced about skating inside Grand Central, had a discussion on how to make 1,000,000 dollars, and ultimately had a very early breakfast at the City Diner. The total distance skated was 21.2 miles / 34 kilometers. Oh yeah, don't forget to check out the mini-movie! |
