Speedskating is an exhausting activity, and once the season is over, it takes a couple months before we're ready to celebrate our success with a party. Or, that was the excuse Empire Speed gave for holding their annual party on a chilly January night. But it was warm inside at Manitoba's, and speedskaters and non-speedskaters alike enjoyed an evening of food, drink, humor and friendship.
